Create a home with a good indoor climate
There are many ways you can create a home with a good indoor climate.
It can be both mechanical and natural ventilation.
On this page we provide an insight into the different solutions we offer to help you achieve a healthy home with a good indoor climate.
Vådrum - Badeværelse og bryggers
Ventilation in a wet room is important as moisture must be reduced so that it does not spread to other rooms in the home and cause moisture damage in more places than just the wet room.
You can use it here:
Basement and garage
Many basements and garages have moisture problems as they are poorly insulated and moisture from the surrounding soil can penetrate through walls and floors. In addition, clothes are left to dry or a wet car is left in the room, which increases the moisture level. This can cause problems with mould, dampness, mildew, bad odours and radon.

Living areas and rooms
The air we are surrounded by in our living spaces is negatively affected by many things such as candles, perfume, tobacco smoke, wood burning stoves, animal fur, cooking, cleaning products and the evaporation of newly purchased items. This increases the need for fresh air indoors, especially as our houses become denser, the polluted air has a hard time getting out of the home.
Possible solutions:
DUKA One 1-compartment heat recovery
With a DUKA One solution, you can easily get ventilation in your home without complicated pipework. DUKA One is installed in the outer wall. With a DUKA One solution, ventilation needs can be easily customised to the individual room and scaled as needed. DUKA One is equipped with heat recovery, which reduces heat loss by recycling the heat from the exhaust air and heating the supply air. With DUKA One, you get a home with fresh air around the clock, where moisture and radon are reduced.
Bathroom fan
An effective way to get rid of moisture is with a fan. It forces moisture and bad air out of bathrooms, utility rooms etc. Fans come in sizes Ø80-150 mm and are available with several different controls:
- Wi-Fi and Multifunction
- Time and humidity controlled (TH)
- Time controlled (T)
- Sensor and time management (ST)
- Without steering (Std)
VillaVentilation with heat recovery
With a VillaVentilation solution, air is constantly extracted from humid rooms such as the bathroom, toilet, kitchen and utility room, and fresh air is supplied to other rooms in the home. The heat from the exhaust air is recycled in the unit's exchanger and heats the supply air. The constant extraction reduces moisture, but requires pipework to all rooms. This solution will ensure a home with fresh, well-ventilated air in all rooms of the home.
Natural ventilation
Natural ventilation reduces humidity via the natural buoyancy of warm air where it is led out of the room either via a flap valve or a telescopic valve.
Other ventilation
DUKA Ventilation also makes ventilation parts such as duct fans, various pipes and wall penetrations as well as transition pieces between different types and sizes of pipes.
