Create a healthy home with a good indoor climate

Step into a home where the air is always fresh.

A VillaVentilation solution from DUKA Ventilation covers your entire home and ensures a good indoor climate.

VillaVentilation units

A VillaVentilation solution covers your entire home, where a unit placed in the attic or in a technical cabinet and pipework throughout the home ensures a good indoor climate. Warm, moist air is extracted from the home's moisture-laden rooms such as the kitchen, bathroom, utility room and WC. This air is passed through the unit's counterflow exchanger, from where the heat is transferred to the supply air, which is directed to the other rooms in the home.

Fresh outdoor air is supplied to the unit either via a grate in the gable of the home or from a roof hood.

The exhaust air from the unit is led out of the home either via a grate in the gable or via the roof hood.

Get a solution tailored to your home

If you want a ventilation solution that covers your entire home, you can get a quote by submitting a floor plan to your local/nearest DUKA dealer. They will then send the drawing to us, after which we will propose a solution. Remember to state whether there is a suspended ceiling and where you want the unit placed.

Sizing of aggregates

There are two requirements in the building regulations for dimensioning a ventilation unit;
The 1st requirement depends on the size of the home, with a minimum requirement of 0.3 l/s per square metre of living space.
2nd requirement depends on the number of wet rooms in the home.

The value that is greater according to the two calculations above is the min. ventilation requirement.

Capacity and heat recovery rate (VGV) according to BR 18 requirements and 70 Pa in system back pressure.

Power unit Connection Capacity VGV Area Capacity free blowing
Power Pack 380 Wi-Fi Ø160 mm 60 l/s 87% 200 square metres 105 l/s
Power Pack 200 Top Wi-Fi Ø125 mm 44 l/s 86 % 130 square metres 55 l/s
Power Pack 450 Top Wi-Fi Ø160 mm 78 l/s 86 % 260 square metres 125 l/s
Power Pack 690 Top Wi-Fi Ø200 mm 120 l/s 86 % 380 191 l/s

Wet room minimum requirements

Rum Air volume
Kitchen facilities 20 l/s
Bathroom 15 l/s
Utility room 10 l/s
Separate WC 10 l/s

For example, a 170 square metre home with a kitchen, utility room and two bathrooms:
1st requirement according to dwelling size: 51 l/s (170 * 0.3)
2nd wet room requirement: 60 l/s (20+10+15+15)

This is where the wet room requirement is greatest. This means that this dwelling must have a ventilation unit with a capacity of min. 60 l/s.

Specific space requirements can be found in building regulations.

Ventilation like never before

The unit's standard counterflow exchanger can be replaced with an enthalpy exchanger that recycles both heat and moisture in the extract air. This provides increased comfort in the supply air, where in summer the supply air will contain less moisture and in winter it will be drier. Read more about enthalpy hoods here.

In units with an enthalpy cover, the drain can be completely blocked off as there is no condensation. This also eliminates the need for a water trap.

Winter

During the winter months, it provides a more comfortable supply air that is not too dry. When the indoor climate becomes too dry, the risk of dry and irritating mucous membranes and eyes, increased static electricity and the risk of drying out wood in the home is higher.

Summer

During the summer months, some of the moisture is drawn out of the supply air, making it feel slightly cooler and therefore more comfortable.
