Insulated flex hose with 50 mm insulation. Withstands up to 70 degrees C.
An insulated flex hose should be used when passing a cold attic as the insulation layer minimises condensation when the warm air passes the cold attic.
When installing mechanical ventilation systems, it is recommended to use a flex hose without insulation and post-insulate it with 2 x 50 mm insulation to achieve the most optimal condensation insulation.
With sustained temperature differences of 8 degrees or more in the exhaust air and the temperature in the room where the flexible hose is placed, Duka Ventilation cannot guarantee that 25 or 50 mm insulation is sufficient insulation against condensation.
The hose is fire retardant according to DIN 4102-1 B2, i.e. flame retardant.
Colour: White hose, outer grey cover foil
Made of polyethylene and mineral wool.
Important when mounting:
Remember that flex hoses need to be fitted/tightened tightly for the best airflow.
